Hikvision DS-7616NI-M2/16P 16 Channel 32MP 8K PoE NVR
The Hikvision DS-7616NI-M2/16P is a professional 16-channel Network Video Recorder designed for larger, high-resolution IP CCTV installations. Featuring 16 built-in PoE ports, support for cameras up to 32MP, 256Mbps incoming bandwidth and an ultra-high-definition 8K HDMI output, it provides a powerful recording platform for professional Hikvision CCTV systems.
Two SATA hard-drive bays support capacities up to 16TB per HDD, while H.265+ compression helps reduce storage and network-bandwidth requirements. Hik-Connect support provides convenient remote access from compatible smartphones and tablets.

Up to 32MP High-Resolution CCTV Recording
The Hikvision DS-7616NI-M2/16P supports IP cameras with resolutions up to 32MP, making it suitable for demanding CCTV installations where fine image detail is important.
The recorder supports up to eight 32MP, 24MP or 16MP IP camera inputs. All 16 channels can be used with cameras below 16MP. Supported recording resolutions also include 12MP, 8MP, 7MP, 6MP, 5MP, 4MP, 3MP and 1080p.
16 Built-In PoE Ports
Sixteen independent PoE interfaces allow compatible IP cameras to connect directly to the recorder using network cable. Power and data are carried over the same cable, helping simplify CCTV installation and reducing the need for separate camera power supplies.
The PoE interfaces support IEEE 802.3af/at with a total PoE power budget of up to 200W.
256Mbps Incoming Bandwidth
With up to 256Mbps incoming bandwidth, the Hikvision DS-7616NI-M2/16P is designed to manage multiple high-resolution IP camera streams across a professional 16-camera CCTV installation.
The recorder also provides up to 256Mbps outgoing bandwidth for live viewing, playback and network access.
8K HDMI Video Output
Connect the NVR directly to a compatible monitor or television using HDMI. The recorder supports HDMI output up to 8K (7680 × 4320) at 30Hz, providing exceptionally detailed local live view and playback.
It also supports 4K HDMI output at up to 60Hz and Full HD VGA output. HDMI and VGA can operate as independent display outputs.
Compatible Camera Smart Functions
When used with compatible Hikvision cameras, the DS-7616NI-M2/16P can support camera-generated smart functions such as motion detection, line-crossing detection, intrusion detection, ANPR, heat-map data and people counting.
Available smart functions depend on the connected camera model and system configuration. This recorder should not be described as having built-in AcuSense or facial recognition because these features are not confirmed as built-in functions in the official M2 datasheet.
H.265+ Video Compression
Hikvision H.265+ compression helps reduce CCTV storage requirements and network bandwidth compared with older compression formats while maintaining high image quality. The recorder also supports H.265, H.264+ and H.264 video formats.
Dual HDD Storage – Up to 16TB Per HDD
The Hikvision DS-7616NI-M2/16P includes 2 SATA interfaces, with support for surveillance hard drives up to 16TB each. This provides a maximum supported storage capacity of up to 32TB.
Actual recording time depends on the number of cameras, recording resolution, frame rate, bitrate, compression settings and recording schedule.
16-Channel Synchronous Playback
Up to 16 channels can be played back simultaneously, making it easier to review recorded footage from multiple cameras around the same event or time period.
Hik-Connect Remote Viewing
Hik-Connect support provides convenient remote access to the CCTV system from compatible smartphones and tablets. Authorised users can access live video and recorded footage while away from the premises.
Remote access requires a suitable internet connection and correct network configuration.
