Automatic Tracking and AcuSense Detection
The Hikvision DS-2DE4A425IWG1-E supports both manual tracking and automatic tracking. With suitable configuration, the camera can follow a moving target rather than remaining on a fixed preset. Regional people counting supports up to eight detection regions, with independent arming schedules and linkage settings. Available modes include people density detection, number-of-people exception detection and waiting-time exception detection. Face capture can detect up to five faces simultaneously and select a suitable captured face image from a moving subject. This is a face-capture function and should not be confused with identifying a person against a recognition database. Installation & Compatibility
This 4MP auto-tracking PTZ camera requires a wired Ethernet connection. For PoE installation, use an IEEE 802.3at PoE+ source capable of meeting the camera’s maximum 24W requirement. Check both the available power per port and the total power budget when connecting other cameras to the same recorder or switch. Alternatively, use a suitable 12V DC supply alongside the network connection.
Select mounting equipment to suit the installation position. Hikvision lists the DS-1605ZJ wall mount and other mounting accessories as optional for this model. Use suitable fixings and protect external cable connections with appropriate weatherproofing.
A compatible NVR can provide central recording and playback. Confirm support for the required resolution, PTZ controls, camera events and firmware before installation. ONVIF support does not guarantee that every advanced analytic function will be available through every recorder or software platform.
Hik-Connect remote access requires an internet connection and appropriate setup. The audio connectors are line-level connections for external equipment; they do not indicate a built-in microphone or speaker.
