4MP High-Resolution CCTV
The Hikvision DS-2CD2446G2-I(C) records at resolutions up to 2688 × 1520, providing clear and detailed surveillance footage for everyday security monitoring. The 4MP resolution offers an excellent balance between image detail, storage requirements and network bandwidth.
Hikvision AcuSense Human & Vehicle Detection
Hikvision’s AcuSense technology uses deep-learning algorithms to distinguish human and vehicle targets from other movement. This helps reduce unwanted alarms caused by irrelevant activity and makes recorded events easier to search and review.
DarkFighter Low-Light Technology
The DS-2CD2446G2-I(C) features Hikvision DarkFighter technology, designed to provide improved image performance in low-light environments. This helps retain useful image detail in indoor areas where lighting conditions may be poor or change throughout the day.
Built-In Two-Way Audio
The camera includes both a built-in microphone and built-in speaker, providing genuine two-way audio communication.
This allows users to listen to activity at the camera location and communicate through a compatible Hikvision system, making the camera particularly useful for reception areas, entrances, offices, shops and residential applications.
Built-In PIR Detection
A built-in Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor provides an additional method of detecting movement. PIR detection responds to infrared energy associated with moving people and can complement the camera’s intelligent video analytics.
Infrared Night Vision Up to 10 Metres
Built-in infrared illumination allows the camera to continue monitoring when ambient lighting falls. The infrared system provides night-time visibility at distances of up to 10 metres, making it ideal for indoor areas that may be dark overnight.
120 dB True WDR
120 dB True Wide Dynamic Range helps improve image quality in scenes containing both bright and dark areas. This is particularly useful when the camera is positioned near windows, doorways or entrances where strong backlighting can otherwise make subjects difficult to see.
PoE for Simple Installation
The camera supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing both power and network data to travel through a single Ethernet cable when connected to a compatible Hikvision PoE NVR or PoE network switch.
A 12V DC input is also available for installations where PoE is not being used.
Local microSD Card Recording
The built-in microSD card slot supports cards up to 512GB, allowing local recording directly at the camera. This provides additional recording flexibility and can be used alongside a compatible Hikvision NVR.
