Dahua SDT3E410-8P-MB-A-PV1 combines an 8MP panoramic overview with a separate 4MP PTZ view, helping you monitor a wide area while following activity in closer detail. This Dahua panoramic PTZ camera provides a stitched 180° overview through its 2.8mm lens arrangement, alongside a motorised 4–40mm PTZ lens with 10x optical zoom.
This 180° security camera brings together Smart Dual Light, intelligent tracking, built-in two-way audio and red-and-blue warning lights. Supplied in White with a PFB5310W wall bracket, it suits entrances, yards, car parks and business premises where both broad coverage and a closer moving view are useful.

8MP Panoramic Overview and Separate 4MP Detail
The overview channel produces a stitched 5376 × 1520 image with a 180° horizontal and 47° vertical field of view. The separate detail channel captures 2560 × 1440 video. Both channels support up to 25/30fps at their maximum resolution, depending on the selected video standard.
The 8MP and 4MP figures describe two separate views, rather than one combined 12MP video image. The panoramic channel helps you see activity across the scene, while the PTZ channel provides a narrower view for closer observation.
10x Optical Zoom and Motorised PTZ Control
As a 10x optical zoom PTZ camera, this model uses a motorised 4–40mm lens to move between a wider detail view and a closer view of a selected area. Optical zoom changes the lens magnification; the additional 16x digital zoom enlarges the captured image.
The PTZ mechanism offers a 0°–345° pan range and a −10° to +90° tilt range. Up to 300 presets and eight tours help you return to useful viewing positions. Automatic, manual and semi-automatic focus options are available.
Smart Tracking and Human or Vehicle Detection
Auto Tracking Lite and WizTracking support following people through the scene. In linkage mode, the panoramic channel can direct the PTZ channel towards a person detected within the overview. Relay tracking can continue following that person after they leave the panoramic view, while they remain within the available tracking scene.
Human and vehicle classification is available for supported perimeter events, including tripwire and intrusion detection. Panoramic-to-PTZ linkage tracking is specified for people. Detection of vehicles does not mean that vehicle linkage tracking is supported.
SMD 4.0 helps filter relevant motion events. The detail channel also supports face detection and face snapshots; face detection alone does not identify a person. Tracking and detection performance depend on positioning, target visibility, lighting and configuration.
Smart Dual Light and Colour Night Viewing
Smart Dual Light combines infrared with visible illumination. Infrared provides black-and-white viewing in darkness, while visible light allows colour images when enabled. Smart lighting can switch to visible illumination for supported detected activity and return to infrared afterwards.
The panoramic channel provides up to 30m infrared and 30m visible-light illumination. The PTZ detail channel provides up to 70m infrared and 30m visible-light illumination. Colour night images require sufficient ambient light or the camera’s visible illumination; the 70m figure applies to infrared on the PTZ channel.
Starlight sensitivity helps in low-light scenes. The overview channel uses digital wide dynamic range, while the detail channel provides 120dB WDR to help balance bright and shaded areas. Electronic image stabilisation is available on the detail channel.
Two-Way Audio and TiOC Active Deterrence
A built-in microphone and speaker allow listening and speaking through supported software, including a correctly configured DMSS connection. Red-and-blue warning lights and audible warnings provide additional responses to configured events.
The camera offers 11 built-in sound alarms and supports importing up to ten custom sound alarms. Warning volume, repetitions and light behaviour can be adjusted during setup. Audio is associated with the overview channel; the built-in audio devices and corresponding external audio connections are mutually exclusive.
Recording, Remote Access and AcuPick
Connect the camera to a compatible network recorder for central recording, or fit a suitable microSD card up to 512GB for local storage. A recorder, hard drive and memory card are sold separately. Smart H.265+ and Smart H.264+ help manage storage and network use.
DMSS and DSS Pro provide supported management and viewing options. Off-site access requires an internet connection and appropriate configuration. AcuPick is supported by the overview channel when used with compatible backend equipment; confirm the recorder and firmware support this function before choosing a system around it.

Installation & Compatibility
Mount the camera securely using the supplied PFB5310W wall bracket, with enough clearance for PTZ movement and an unobstructed panoramic view. The optional Dahua PFA121 junction box provides space for protected cable connections behind the mounting arrangement. Seal outdoor cable entries and joints correctly.
This 10x optical zoom PTZ camera requires an IEEE 802.3at PoE+ source or a suitable 12V DC, 3A supply. Allow for its maximum 25W consumption when checking both the individual PoE port and the shared power budget. Standard lower-power PoE should not be assumed sufficient.
For NVR recording, confirm support for both video channels and the 5376 × 1520 panoramic resolution. Allow for the two views when checking available recording channels, incoming bandwidth and simultaneous display capacity. ONVIF compatibility does not guarantee support for every Dahua tracking, audio or intelligent-search feature.
Configure the panoramic and detail views, presets, tracking rules, lighting and warnings during installation. Check the required functions with the chosen recorder and firmware before relying on them.
Complete Your Installation
The following accessories are available separately, in the order needed to build your system:
- Dahua NVR4104HS-P-EI: A four-channel PoE recorder option. Confirm support for both camera views and required features; its 45W total PoE budget is shared across all connected cameras.
- 20m Outdoor CAT5 Network Cable: A ready-made solid-copper network cable for the camera connection.
- Dahua PFA121 Junction Box: The optional compatible back base shown in the camera’s mounting information.
- Uniview MW3222-V-DT Full HD Monitor: A dedicated screen for local recorder viewing. Its 1920 × 1080 display does not show the full native resolution of the 8MP panoramic image.
