Hikvision DS-KIS612-P is a 4MP IP video intercom kit that brings a clear view of your entrance, indoor video communication and flexible unlocking together. It pairs the DS-KV6124-WBE1 door station with a 7-inch DS-KH6350-WTE1 indoor monitor, helping you see visitors and manage access to compatible electric locks.
This Wi-Fi door entry system offers a choice of wired Ethernet or 2.4GHz wireless networking, with power supplied by the included adapters or a suitable PoE switch. A 150° horizontal camera view, infrared illumination and unlocking by card, PIN, Bluetooth, Hik-Connect or the indoor station make it a practical option for homes, offices and small business entrances.

4MP Entrance Viewing with Infrared Illumination
The door station supports a main-stream resolution of up to 2688 × 1520. Its 150° horizontal and 75° vertical field of view provides broad entrance coverage, while infrared illumination reaches up to 3 metres for viewing in low light. Supported video compression formats are H.264, H.265 and MJPEG.
The 4MP specification applies to the door-station camera. The supplied indoor station has a 7-inch display; camera resolution and monitor display resolution are separate specifications.
Indoor Communication and Flexible Unlocking
The DS-KH6350-WTE1 indoor station includes an omnidirectional microphone and loudspeaker, with noise suppression and echo cancellation. The system supports unlocking from the indoor station and through Hik-Connect, alongside card, PIN and Bluetooth methods.
The door station supports up to 2,000 users and 6,000 cards, using 13.56MHz M1 cards. One administrator card and five key fobs are included. Two lock-control relays are rated at a maximum of 30V DC, 2A; connected locks and any required lock power supply must suit the installation.
Hik-Connect functions require appropriate account setup and network configuration. Remote access requires an internet connection. Feature availability depends on the configured system and supported devices.
Wired Networking, Wi-Fi and PoE Power
For a wired PoE video intercom installation, a suitable switch can carry data and supply power over the network cable to each station. The door station requires IEEE 802.3at support, while the indoor station supports IEEE 802.3af.
Both stations also support 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. The door station supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n/ax, including Wi-Fi 6, while the indoor station supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n. Wireless networking still requires a power connection: Wi-Fi does not replace the power supplies.
Local Recording and Playback
The Hikvision DS-KIS612-P supports video recording and playback through its station functions. Both the door station and indoor station accept TF cards up to 128GB, and the kit includes one 32GB TF card. Recording availability and retention depend on the card installed, recording settings and system configuration.

Installation & Compatibility
Surface-mount the outdoor door station in a suitable position and use the supplied rain shield as appropriate. Install the indoor monitor in a suitable indoor location. Protect cable entries and connections from moisture, and operate each station within its stated temperature and humidity limits.
For PoE installation, use IEEE 802.3at-capable equipment for the door station and IEEE 802.3af-compatible equipment for the indoor station. Check the switch’s available power and use suitable network cabling. When using Wi-Fi, provide power using the correct adapter and check 2.4GHz coverage before completing the installation.
Check electric-lock voltage, current, wiring and any separate power-supply requirements before connecting access hardware. The lock-control relay rating and the door station’s 12V power-output rating are separate limits. Installer configuration is required for calling, unlocking, recording and app access.
ONVIF support is listed for the door station, but it does not guarantee that every intercom or access-control function will work with third-party equipment. Confirm compatibility for any existing indoor stations, locks or integrated systems.
