See and Speak to Visitors
The 2MP camera provides a 146° horizontal and 82° vertical field of view. Wide Dynamic Range helps balance bright and shaded parts of the scene, while IR supplementary lighting supports viewing when ambient light is low.
A built-in omnidirectional microphone and loudspeaker provide two-way conversation. Noise suppression, echo cancellation and adjustable volume help users hear callers more clearly through a compatible intercom station.
PoE Video Intercom Installation
Standard IEEE 802.3af PoE carries network data and electrical power over one Ethernet cable when connected to a suitable PoE switch or injector. This can reduce the need for a separate power supply beside the outdoor unit.
A 12V DC power option is also available, with network communication provided through the RJ45 Ethernet connection. This is an Ethernet/IP model; it does not provide Wi-Fi or a two-wire IP interface.
Control Connected Doors
Two relay outputs support control of compatible electric locking equipment. Exit-button and door-contact connections allow the station to form part of a properly designed door-entry installation.
The unit also provides a 12V DC auxiliary output rated up to 500mA for one suitable lock. Check the lock’s voltage, operating current and starting current before using this output. Locks exceeding the available output require a suitable separate power arrangement.
Add the Access Functions You Need
Compatible Hikvision expansion modules allow the entrance panel to include additional calling buttons, keypad entry or card access. Select a mounting frame with enough spaces for the complete module arrangement.
Card access requires a separate compatible reader module. A MIFARE reader is not built into this main camera module. For example, the Hikvision DS-KD-M is a separate MIFARE reader module that can be considered as part of a compatible system.

Installation & Compatibility
This product is the main module of a Hikvision modular IP intercom system. It requires an appropriate mounting assembly and compatible system components to form a complete installation.
Connect the station through Ethernet and provide standard IEEE 802.3af PoE or a suitable 12V DC supply. Allow sufficient power capacity for the complete installation, including any connected expansion modules and lock equipment.
Check the indoor-station model, expansion modules, firmware and mounting accessories before ordering. Electric locks must be correctly wired and remain within the relevant relay and power-output ratings. Outdoor installation requires suitable cable entry, sealing and mounting to maintain weather protection.
