The Hikvision DS-2CE79H0T-IT3ZE is a
5MP motorised varifocal turret CCTV camera with a
2.7–13.5mm adjustable lens, up to
40m infrared night vision and Power over Coax support.

Its adjustable viewing angle makes it a practical choice for entrances,
driveways, shops and commercial premises where a fixed-lens camera
may not provide the required coverage. The IP67-rated metal housing
supports indoor and outdoor installation.

5MP Video Quality

The camera provides 2560 × 1944 resolution at up to 20fps.
It also supports 4MP and 1080p output at 25/30fps. The resolution and
frame rate retained in recordings depend on the connected DVR.

2.7–13.5mm Motorised Varifocal Lens

The motorised varifocal lens offers flexibility when
framing the scene. Use the wider setting to cover a larger area,
or a longer focal length for a narrower view of an entrance,
gateway or other area of interest.

The horizontal viewing angle adjusts from 95° to 26°.
The camera’s physical direction is set during installation;
a motorised lens does not make this a pan-and-tilt camera.

Up to 40m Smart IR Night Vision

Infrared illumination reaches up to 40m, providing
black-and-white viewing in darkness. The camera switches between
day and night operation using an IR-cut filter. Actual night-time
detail depends on positioning, the scene and surrounding surfaces.

Power over Coax or 12V DC

Power over Coax (PoC) allows power and video to share
a coaxial connection when used with compatible PoC equipment and cabling.
This camera supports PoC.at and can alternatively
operate from a separate 12V DC power supply.
PoC is different from the PoE technology used by IP cameras.

IP67 Metal Housing

The metal enclosure provides IP67-rated water and dust
resistance. Protect external connectors and cable joints
from moisture during installation. The optional
DS-1280ZJ-M junction box provides a compatible
mounting base for the camera.

DVR Compatibility & Installation

This is an HD analogue CCTV camera requiring a compatible
DVR, rather than a direct connection to an IP NVR.

The linked Hikvision iDS-7204HQHI-M1/XT accepts a
5MP camera signal but records it at up to
5MP Lite at 12fps, not full 2560 × 1944 at 20fps.
Use a separate 12V DC camera supply with this recorder.
For PoC powering, select a compatible PoC.at recorder and suitable cabling.

For separate DC powering, Hikvision recommends an individual adapter
for each camera. Before choosing a shared supply, check the combined
power demand, cable lengths and voltage drop.
