Description
Hikvision DS-2CE79H0T-IT3ZE 5MP Motorised Varifocal PoC Turret CCTV Kit with AcuSense DVR
The Hikvision DS-2CE79H0T-IT3ZE Kit combines genuine
5MP motorised varifocal PoC turret cameras with a Hikvision AcuSense PoC DVR
to provide flexible viewing angles, intelligent human and vehicle detection
and simplified power-over-coax installation.
Designed for homes, shops, offices, warehouses and commercial premises, this
Hikvision 5MP CCTV kit gives installers the flexibility to
adjust the camera view remotely using its 2.7–13.5mm motorised varifocal lens.
This makes it particularly useful where a standard fixed lens does not provide
the required field of view.
Because the camera supports Hikvision PoC.at, compatible cameras can receive
power and transmit video through the same coaxial connection when used with
the supplied PoC recorder. This makes the system a practical
PoC CCTV kit for both new installations and suitable upgrades.

5MP High-Resolution CCTV
The DS-2CE79H0T-IT3ZE uses a 5MP CMOS image sensor and provides
a maximum resolution of 2560 × 1944, delivering significantly
more detail than standard 1080p analogue CCTV.
This makes the Hikvision DS-2CE79H0T-IT3ZE Kit suitable for
entrances, driveways, retail areas, offices, warehouses and other locations
where clear recorded detail is important.
For customers looking for a Hikvision 5MP CCTV kit with more
flexibility than a fixed-lens system, the motorised lens allows the field of
view to be adjusted to suit the installation.
2.7–13.5mm Motorised Varifocal Lens
The camera uses a 2.7–13.5mm motorised varifocal lens with an
approximate horizontal field of view from 95° to 26°.
At the wider end, the camera can cover entrances, rooms and larger general
areas. At the narrower end, the view can be tightened to concentrate on gates,
doorways, tills, driveways or other important points of interest.
This makes the system a useful motorised varifocal CCTV kit
for installations where camera positioning and viewing requirements may vary
from one location to another.
PoC — Power over Coax
Hikvision PoC technology allows a compatible camera to receive power through
the same coaxial cable that carries the video signal when connected to a
compatible Hikvision PoC DVR.
The Hikvision DS-2CE79H0T-IT3ZE Kit therefore does not normally
require a separate camera power supply and splitter when used with the supplied
PoC recorder.
This can simplify installation and makes the system a practical
PoC CCTV kit for both new installations and suitable
HD analogue upgrades.
Smart IR Night Vision up to 40 Metres
The DS-2CE79H0T-IT3ZE provides up to 40 metres of infrared illumination
under suitable conditions.
Smart IR helps manage infrared intensity to reduce overexposure when people or
objects move closer to the camera, providing more balanced night-time images.
Hikvision AcuSense Human & Vehicle Detection
The Hikvision AcuSense PoC DVR supplied with this kit uses deep-learning
technology to classify human and vehicle targets.
This helps reduce unnecessary alerts caused by non-target movement and makes
recorded events easier to search. The
Hikvision DS-2CE79H0T-IT3ZE Kit therefore combines flexible
camera optics with smarter DVR-based detection.

- Offices and reception areas
- Warehouses and industrial units

- Gates and access points
- Commercial premises
- Areas requiring adjustable camera coverage
The Hikvision DS-2CE79H0T-IT3ZE Kit is particularly useful
where installers need the flexibility of a motorised lens rather than being
limited to one fixed viewing angle.
Installation & Compatibility
The DS-2CE79H0T-IT3ZE connects to the Hikvision PoC DVR using BNC coaxial
cabling.
When connected to the compatible PoC recorder, the same coaxial cable carries
both the camera video signal and camera power, reducing the need for separate
12V camera power cabling.
The motorised 2.7–13.5mm lens can then be adjusted to obtain the required
viewing angle for each camera location.
For Hik-Connect remote viewing, the DVR must be connected to a suitable
internet router and configured correctly.
Complete Your Installation
For a clean camera installation, you can add the
Hikvision DS-1280ZJ-S Junction Box
to help protect and conceal camera cable connections where suitable for the
installation.
