Hikvision DS-2CE72KF0T-LFS/B 3K ColorVu Imaging
The Hikvision DS-2CE72KF0T-LFS/B delivers up to
2960 × 1665 resolution at 20fps through TVI, providing
greater image detail than conventional 1080p analogue CCTV cameras.
The camera also supports alternative video resolutions and formats for
compatibility with suitable analogue DVR systems. The actual resolution and
frame rate retained in recordings will depend on the connected recorder.
ColorVu Low-Light Performance
ColorVu technology uses a large F1.0 aperture to capture
more available light. This helps the camera maintain useful colour detail in
low-light environments where a conventional analogue camera may switch to
black-and-white earlier.
The Hikvision DS-2CE72KF0T-LFS/B can also use its integrated
white light when additional illumination is required for colour viewing in
darker conditions.
Smart Hybrid Light
The Hikvision DS-2CE72KF0T-LFS/B features Smart Hybrid Light,
providing both infrared and white-light illumination for flexible night-time
monitoring.
Infrared mode provides discreet black-and-white night viewing, while white
light can be used when colour footage is required. Both illumination systems
offer a range of up to approximately 40 metres, depending on
the installation environment.
Built-In Microphone & Audio Over Coax
The Hikvision DS-2CE72KF0T-LFS/B includes a built-in
microphone for recording sound through a compatible
audio-over-coax DVR.
Audio can travel along the same coaxial cable as the video signal, helping
simplify installations. This camera has a microphone for audio recording but
does not include a speaker for two-way audio.
2.8mm Wide-Angle Lens
The 2.8mm fixed lens provides an approximately
105° horizontal viewing angle, making it suitable for
entrances, driveways, shops, offices, reception areas and general CCTV
coverage where a wide field of view is required.
Four Switchable Video Formats
The camera supports TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS video output,
providing useful flexibility when upgrading existing analogue CCTV systems.
Maximum resolution varies according to the selected video format and the
capabilities of the connected DVR.
Black IP67 Weather-Resistant Housing
The Hikvision DS-2CE72KF0T-LFS/B features a black
IP67-rated housing for indoor and outdoor installations.
The black finish is particularly suitable for darker fascias, soffits,
commercial premises and installations where a white camera would be more
noticeable.
External cable joints and connectors should still be properly protected
against moisture during installation.
DVR Compatibility & Installation
This is an HD analogue CCTV camera and requires a compatible
DVR. It cannot be connected directly to an IP NVR and is not a PoE camera.
A suitable 12V DC power supply is required.
For microphone audio recording, the connected DVR must support
audio over coax. Always check the DVR’s supported camera
resolution, recording resolution and audio capabilities before upgrading an
existing CCTV system.
Hikvision recommends using a suitable power adapter for each camera. If a
shared power supply is used, check the combined power requirement, cable
length and voltage drop before installation.
