8MP 4K Detail and Wide-Angle Coverage
Each DS-2CD2386G2H-IU camera captures up to 3840 × 2160 resolution. The 2.8mm fixed lens provides a 108.8° horizontal view, helping cover entrances, driveways, shop floors and other areas that benefit from a broad viewing angle.
Full-resolution recording is supported at up to 25fps in 50Hz mode or 24fps in 60Hz mode. Configure the camera bit rates and recording settings within the selected NVR’s incoming bandwidth. The number of high-resolution streams displayed or played back together also depends on the recorder’s decoding capacity and enabled analytics.
Powered-by-DarkFighter Low-Light Imaging
This DarkFighter CCTV system uses a 1/1.8-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor and F1.0 aperture to capture available light. The cameras also provide 120dB wide dynamic range to improve visibility where bright and shaded areas share the same scene.
In darkness, infrared illumination supports black-and-white monitoring at distances up to 30m. The detail available depends on the scene, installation height, lighting and subject distance. Infrared range describes illumination coverage rather than a guaranteed identification distance.
AcuSense Human and Vehicle Detection
The cameras use deep-learning target classification to help distinguish people and vehicles from irrelevant movement. Supported perimeter rules include line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and region exiting, with human or vehicle alarm filtering.
Set detection areas and schedules around the parts of your property that matter. The AcuSense NVR provides additional supported analysis and playback tools, subject to its channel limits, firmware and settings. Camera analytics and recorder analytics should be configured to suit the installation.
Built-in Microphones for Audio Recording

The camera provides one-way audio capture through its microphone. Environmental noise filtering helps manage background noise, while the quality of recorded sound depends on placement and the surrounding environment.
Remote Viewing and Recording Storage
Connect the recorder to your network and configure Hik-Connect for remote viewing and supported event notifications. Off-site access requires an internet connection. A compatible monitor or television can connect to the recorder’s HDMI output for local viewing, with the supplied USB mouse used to operate the system.
Select an optional hard drive for NVR recording and playback. The hard drive is pre-fitted when selected; the No HDD option provides no internal NVR recording storage. Available choices are 1TB, 2TB, 4TB, 6TB and 8TB. Recording duration depends on camera quantity, bit rate, resolution, recording schedule and drive capacity.
Each camera also accepts a compatible microSD, microSDHC or microSDXC card up to 512GB, sold separately. H.265+ compression helps manage storage and bandwidth requirements when supported by the recording configuration.

Camera mounting: The optional Hikvision DS-1280ZJ-DM21 junction box provides space for cable connections. Confirm fit with the exact camera housing before ordering and choose a suitable finish. Weatherproof the cable entries and connections when fitting cameras outdoors.
Complete Your Installation
Add the Uniview MW3222-V-DT 22-inch Full HD monitor for local viewing through the recorder’s video output. It displays the recorder output at its supported screen resolution while the system can continue recording 8MP footage. The Hikvision DS-1280ZJ-DM21 junction box is available separately to house cable connections and help keep the installation tidy. The monitor and mounting bases are sold separately.
